Matt is the Director of Business Development & Partnerships for Golfzon Leadbetter's global team where he is focused on growing the company's licensed academy business around the world. He helps golf instructors become more well rounded coaches with education and certification programs through Leadbetter University, and also works to create unique partnerships with companies and brands.
Prior to joining Golfzon Leadbetter in 2021, Matt spent a couple years helping build the LECOM Suncoast Classic, a Korn Ferry Tour tournament in the Sarasota, FL area with Global Golf Management (SPORTFIVE). Matt pivoted his career from banking and electronic payments in 2016 to join IMG Academy where he recruited golf student athletes for the full-time boarding school program. Junior Golf Kies started as a passion project when Matt was exiting IMG and realized there were so many families that simply don't know what they don't know about the world of junior golf.
Matt resides in Sarasota, FL with his wife Shannon, daughter Payton, and their dog Oakley.
